Chef Dennis is a Newport native, born and raised in the 5th ward. He started his culinary career at 13 years old at the Southern Cross in downtown Newport. His passion for cooking was instantaneous, and he knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life cooking and enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America. After graduation, Dennis moved to Williamsburg, Virginia to work for Anhauser Busch at the Kings Mill resort. 

Throughout his career, Chef Dennis has developed a network that has allowed him to work on a variety of special events such as the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics, 2002 Winter Olympics, the G-8 Summit, the 2004 Presidential Inauguration, the 2014 Final Four, the 2015 Masters, and SuperBowl XLVIII.

Chef Dennis has partnered with his daughter, who shares a love for the culinary world, and followed in his footsteps at the Culinary Institute of America where she is pursuing her Masters degree in Food Business. Together they have merged their passion and expertise to create personalized dining experiences for Newport locals and visitors alike.
